Two Psychology graduates of the Colegio landed in the Top 10 of the 2016 Psychometrician Licensure Examinations held last August.
Cheyselle Cuaresma (Batch 2013) ranked solo second with a rating of 85.40% while Karl Sumagaysay (Batch 2016) placed sixth with three other passers who scored 84.40%.
The two topnotchers led 26 other Letranite passers in achieving a 70% passing rate, higher than Letran’s 60% last year. In 2014, the Colegio had a 52% passing rate.
Other Letran alumni who were successful in this year’s exam were Joanna Alamo, Rhodea Alindongan, Lara Amador, Jenika Asuncion, Kristoffer Baña, Franz Delito, Evita Gallardo, A.B. Lopez, Yvonne Maestro, Joanne Malig, Ela Mendiola, Rachel Navarro, Cara Octaviano, Denise Peji, Janine Perez, Jaya Rodriguez, Czarlene San Juan, Antonio Tomenio III, and Khayren Vecina (Batch 2016); Leslie Eco and Ericka Gomez (Batch 2015); Jose Faundo (Batch 2014); Mara Buelos and Kristine Dela Rosa (Batch 2013); Mary Baldia (Batch 2012); and Jhoanna Jacinto (Batch 2001).
Last year, the Colegio also produced topnotchers in Christelle Janer and Karen Desengaño, who ranked 4th and 10th, respectively.
The 2016 Psychometrician Licensure exams were administered by the Board of Psychology in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, and Lucena. The Professional Regulation Commission announced the passers on September 5.
