MAY 10 - Right steps towards the right direction.
The Colegio received positive results from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) this week, with two of its programs moving forward towards a higher accreditation.
The BS Accountancy program has already been granted initial accreditation and has elevated to Level I Status valid until May 2020.
On the other hand, the BS Information Technology with specialization in Digital Arts program is on a Candidate status, and is eligible to apply for a Formal Survey this year.
The PAASCU results are a boost to the academic programs of the Colegio, which is geared towards development and progress to achieve its vision of being on the threshold of University status by 2020.
Currently, Letran has programs with a Level III Status in the College of Business Administration (Entrepreneurship, Business Economics, Economics, Financial Management, Human Resource Development and Management, Marketing Management, Marketing, Operations Management, and Management), College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (Advertising, Broadcasting, Communication, Political Science, Philosophy, and Psychology), and the College of Education (Secondary Education major in English and Mathematics). The Basic Education is at Level II while the Hospitality Management and Information Technology programs are at Level I.
