Grade Four student wins in China Primary Math Olympiad

Another Letranite has emerged triumphant in mathematics.
Giesel Arce scored three silver medals and one bronze in the 2017 China Primary Math Olympiad held last July 26 to 31 at Huangzhou, China.
The Grade 4 student did well enough in the individual comprehensive, team relay and overall to earn a silver medal for each category while settling for bronze in the individual calculation part.
A scion of the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild, Philippines, Arce was invited to participate in the Chinese competition after being selected due to her performance.
Active in various mathematics contest, Arce also has proven herself excellent in other fields, with a credit award in English and Science in the International Competition and Assessment last November.
