Colegio de San Juan de Letran opened its doors once again to opportunities when it forged a cooperation with the National Association for Sikolohiyang Pilipino, Incorporated (NASPI) last June 14.
With Rev. Fr. Clarence Marquez, OP, the rector and president, representing the Colegio and Miriam Grace Aquino – Malabanan, the vice president, representing NASPI, the Memorandum of Agreement was signed for a partnership in the upcoming Ika-41 Pambansang Kumperensiya sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino which will happen from November 17 to 19.
The Colegio’s main participation will be the invitation of faculty and students to the conference, plus the provision of the venue, among others.
Also present to witness the signing of the Agreement were NASPI’s Jayson Petras and the new College of Liberal Arts and Sciences dean, Asst. Prof. Darwin Rungduin.
With linkages as one of its Quadricentennial goals, the Colegio is very much willing to work with various organizations, be it internationally or locally. In the past, Letran has had agreements with institutions from Korea and Japan, to name a few.
