The Research and Publication Department congratulates Asst. Prof. Melvin E. Bernardino, RND, MSCN, a College of Business Administration and Accountancy faculty member currently on study leave, for receiving the Top Abstract – Distinction Award at the 1st Medical Nutrition Summit of the Nutritionist and Dietitian Association of the Philippines (NDAP) held on February 25–27 at Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA.

His awarded research abstract and poster, titled “Evaluation of Predictive Performance of Nutrition Screening Tools for Refeeding Syndrome in Critically Ill Patients: A Systematic Narrative Review,” was conducted in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Graduate School (MS Nutrition and Dietetics).

The recognition highlights his contribution to research in Nutrition and Dietetics and supports the continued development of Letran’s BS Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND) program.
