Intramuros, Manila - Colegio de San Juan de Letran's Integrated Basic Education Department (IBED) proudly celebrates another milestone in academic excellence as its student delegates from the Elementary and Junior High School brought home multiple awards from the Koala Excellence Olympiad Grand Finals held from July 3 to 5, 2026, at Hotel Royal, Macau.

Representing the Philippines in the prestigious international academic competition, Letran students demonstrated exceptional knowledge and skill alongside participants from different countries, earning distinctions in English, Science, and Mathematics.

Leading the awardees were Grade 8 students Liam Jared Canlas and Sofia Yzabella Fernando, who each received the Gold Award in the Koala English Olympiad under the guidance of Mr. Daniel Rosales.

Grade 6 student Andray Jermaine Ngo earned the Silver Award and was recognized as 3rd Place Overall in the Koala Science Olympiad. He was coached by Mr. Mark Angelo Abello.

Meanwhile, Grade 10 student Zoie Sofia Fajardo secured the Bronze Award in the Koala Mathematics Olympiad under the mentorship of Mr. Psalm John Mico Manalo.

Adding to the Colegio's remarkable achievement, Mr. Psalm John Mico Manalo, Integrated Basic Education Department Mathematics, Science, and Robotics Coordinator, received the Most Outstanding Teacher Coach Award, recognizing his exemplary leadership and commitment to academic excellence.
