Letran, JA Philippines Sign MOA for Marketing and Entrepreneurship Certification Programs Letran and JA Philippines Formalize Partnership for Business Certification Programs

Intramuros, Manila - The Colegio's College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) formally entered into a academic partnership with JA Philippines through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) aimed at enhancing the industry's relevance of its business education programs.

Under the agreement, the JA Registered Marketing Professional™ Certification Program and the Entrepreneur Skills Pass Program will be integrated into the Letran curriculum, providing Letranites with opportunities to earn industry-recognized certifications while completing their academic requirements. The initiative seeks to strengthen Letranites enrolled in buisness programs competencies in marketing, entrepreneurship, and business practice, ensuring they are better prepared for the demands of today's workplace.

The partnership shows Letran's continuing commitment to delivering quality business education that combines academic excellence with practical, industry-driven learning. By embedding professional certification into the curriculum, the Colegio further equips its students with credentials that complement their degrees and enhance their employability.

The Memorandum of Agreement was signed by Rev. Fr. Raymund Fernando Jose, O.P., Rector and President, together with Dr. Krishna Alejandrino, Executive Director of JA Philippines. Witnessing the ceremonial signing were Prof. Danilo K. Villena, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Asst. Prof. John Carlo Timajo, MBA, Assistant Dean of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy.

Also present from JA Philippines were Ms. Paula Patrice dela Cruz, Director of Operations; Ms. Arlynne Awayan, Learning Programs Designer; and Mr. Timothy James Roa.

The collaboration is expected to open more opportunities for Letran business students to develop workplace-ready competencies while fostering an entrepreneurial mindset aligned with current industry standards.
