Gonzales tops 1st round of IMAS 2016

Grade 9 student Andres Rico Gonzales III will be granted a high distinction certificate by the International Mathematics Assessments for Schools (IMAS) Executive Council for topping the first round of the IMAS conducted last November.

Gonzales achieved a perfect score that month and leads 19 other high distinction recipients.

Also from Letran, Mark Harold Benito and Josh Gabriel Pelaez bagged credit awards.

According to the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild Philippines, the country has produced 117 awardees of high distinction, 212 distinction certificate recipients, and 751 credit awardees in 2016.
